Released in January 2025, Guardian Oak is one of two additions to Macallan's Harmony Collection produced in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil. Bottled alongside the travel retail exclusive Vibtant Oak, both expressions have been created to demonstrate key differences between wood influences in the whisky. These expressions join a number of extravagant releases to mark the distillery's 200th anniversary year.

Guardian Oak has been matured in a combination of first fill sherry seasoned European oak casks and refill sherry casks.
