A special limited edition release from Lagavulin, bottled to celebrate both the 2016 Islay Jazz Festival and the distillery's 200th anniversary.

This distinctive expression was matured in refill American oak and first-fill ex-bourbon casks, before being finished in active American oak hogsheads. Bottled at a robust 54.5% ABV, it showcases Lagavulin's unmistakable Islay character, with rich peat smoke complemented by maritime notes, sweetness, spice and oak.

Released exclusively for the Islay Jazz Festival during Lagavulin's bicentenary year, this is a particularly collectible bottling for fans of the distillery and limited Islay festival releases.
