The 100% Islay Inaugural Release is a landmark bottling from the independently owned Kilchoman Distillery on Islay.

Released in 2011, this was the first expression in Kilchoman's 100% Islay range, created entirely on the island using barley grown at Rockside Farm, before being malted, distilled, matured and bottled at Kilchoman.

Matured in a combination of fresh and refill bourbon barrels, this inaugural release showcases Kilchoman's distinctive character, combining gentle Islay peat smoke with citrus, vanilla, malt and subtle coastal notes.
