This limited committee release has been matured in ex-bourbon casks, with a heart matured in dark sherry casks. The nose is filled with dark fruits, redcurrants and blackberries, along with distinctly wine-like qualities, dessert wine or even Port. On the palate, the whisky is fruity and earthy, with notes of ginger, glazed ham, peat and tobacco.
